Overview

ripgrep.dev is an informational website about the ripgrep command-line tool. We are committed to your privacy. This policy describes what data is collected and how it is used.

Data We Collect

We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to collect anonymised traffic data — pages visited, session duration, and approximate geographic region. This data is used solely to understand how the site is used. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other personally identifiable information. There are no accounts, no login forms, and no contact forms that store your input.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to distinguish visitors and track sessions. We do not set any other cookies.

Cloudflare

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and delivered via Cloudflare's global CDN. Cloudflare processes HTTP requests to serve the site and may log standard server-side information (IP address, browser, requested URL) for security and performance purposes. This data is processed by Cloudflare under their own Privacy Policy. We do not have access to Cloudflare's raw access logs.

External Links

ripgrep.dev contains links to external websites (GitHub, package manager sites, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
